I am a sinner with a foolish pride and a darker side

I’m only human with a human way black and white made gray and I live each day as a man.

I am uncertain with a fear of death underneath my breath

I’m one of many who would long to be in eternity please come back for me someday.

Remember the times that I asked you to give me riches make me a special man

I’m still a child in your eyes I’ve been given riches help me to see who I am

His birth was humble in a world still here with the kingdom near

His name is Jesus and He came to die and to teach us why with a firm reply and a prayer

Where would we go Lord You gave the words we needed

Help us do all we can You gave yourself and freed us

No one but You lived His life in complete perfection

Lead us in your direction

Light of the world take us home

Someday we’ll meet Him and we’ll hold His hand like the Father planned

He’ll be forgiving as His love will stand all across the land and at His command we’ll be free
